ABOUT NYXX

Nyxx and Eoss are two of my favorite goddesses in greek mythology, but of course, neither are my real name. My name is Esra Cetin. My whole life I have been surrounded with art of all forms and shapes; be it dance, acting or music. But painting has always had a special place in my heart. 

 

I started my art journey at a very young age. I would sketch the items I saw laying around my cottage house, draw from magazines and tiny art strips I could find. As I grew older I first fell in love with charcoal, then with oil paint, and then with soft pastel and finally acrylic paint. 

 

It has been a long journey that is nowhere near its end, and I feel so greatful to be able to be a part of this wonderful community. I feel immense joy from being able to finally share my art with the world. I am also thankful to my daughter for pushing me into creating this website.
